Get Local Y’all.

Two Atlanta brands I’m supporting the old-fashioned way, with my hard-earned dollas: King of Pops and Westside Creamery. The King, and the Prince - he prefers Baron or Duke, yeah right - are sweet and scrumptious and Maggie and Greg (Westside) are awesome people (and Greg is a bud from high school). Plus the wares they hock are top-notch.

You can check out these local sugar-dealers, as well as other awesome street food vendors, tomorrow at the Urban Food Picnic at the Sweet Auburn Curb Market. 

Desert Snob: my freezer only has locally grown and made deserts. It’s okay to be jealous.

SARAH, you guys.  It IS okay to be jealous.  It’s only natural.

I’m so freaking excited about all of this city’s increasingly awesome things (dessert and otherwise).  To be young and have our lives in front of us to watch the future of this place unfold … man!  Just the sight of the words “ATLANTA, GEORGIA” on the side of our truck gets me crazy happy.
